Millard "Bart" Bentley's Obituary
Millard “Bart” Bentley, a resident of Delanco for 10 years, formerly of Staten Island, NY, passed away on January 15, 2014. He was 66 years old.
Bart worked for the NYC Transit Authority for over 30 years. He is a United States Navy Vietnam War Veteran.
Bart was the beloved husband of Rosalie (nee Morice) for 43 years. Loving father of Tara Montague (Jim) of Burlington, NJ, and Dina Bentley of Staten Island, NY. Dear grandfather of Mary Montague. Loving brother of Trulyn Bemis of Oregon. He is predeceased by his twin brother Dean “Burt” Bentley.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bart’s life celebration on Friday evening at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Rte. 130 N., from 6 – 9 pm , and Saturday morning at Resurrection Parish, St. Casimir’s site, 502 New Jersey Ave., Riverside, from 10 – 11 am. His funeral Mass will follow at 11 am. Interment will be Tuesday at 11 am at Resurrection Cemetery, 361 Sharrott Ave., Staten Island, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bart’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718, or by visiting www.cancer.org.
