Richard E. Engel's Obituary
Richard Engel, age 80, of Mt Laurel, formerly of Cinnaminson. Rich grew up in Philadelphia. He attended Dobbins Technical HS and Temple University. Rich was an avid music lover and singer, first singing in the Philadelphia boys choir, and later in a Doo-Wop group. He is survived by Carol, his loving wife of 60 years. Beloved daughters Julie Olesky (George) and Laurie Engel. Proud grandfather of Liz, Alina and Andrew Olesky, and Tia McWilliams (John). Elated Great Grand father of Kellin McWilliams. Predeceased by his son Steven and grandsons Jeffrey and Jason Engel. Also survived by his sister, Judy Hart. Rich battled MS for over 40 years and was admired for his unstoppable determination and positive attitude.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, May 5th from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at St. John Neumann Church 560 Walton Avenue Mt. Laurel, NJ
His Memorial Mass will follow at 11 a.m.
