On several occasions, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Bob at his son Bob’s home. Each time he greeted me with a smile. His Love and Pride shown through as he interacted with Bob, Erica and Dillon. I admit to a twinge of envy to see such a relationship. They were all truly Blessed! My deepest sympathies to them as well as for Carol having lost her husband and to the rest of the family . When we mourn, somehow time moves around the pain and good memories numb the hurt for a bit. I pray it will be the case for all of you. Doris McKeon

One of the first times we met Bob and Shelly was at Erica and Bob's house sitting around the pool. For some unknown reason Bob's lawn chair just fell over. Michele and everyone else just cracked up. Bob laughed with everyone with his usual good humor. It was always a good time when Bob was there. We will miss his stories and laughter! Sadly missed by Ed and Tracey.

A lesson I learned early on was to never get stuck in a room alone with Robert or you would be barraged with neverending stories. And if you interjected or commented on the story, he knew exactly where he had left off and just continued on. The worse part was you were intentionally left by yourself as the entire family slowly left room one at a time, so you didn't notice. And as he was on the 25th minute of the same story everyone else was in the adjacent room laughing at you like this was some type of hazing ritual. No one dared to come to your rescue. That was the very first time I met Robert and two years later I married his son and he became Dad. Dad was still known for telling his long stories at family gatherings and never missed a beat if interrupted. I willi miss him so very much. You raised a great son who has your story telling abilities.
