Robert C. Lightfoot's Obituary
Robert C. Lightfoot passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 26, 2022. Bob, age 85, was born in Philadelphia to Albert and Elizabeth Lightfoot. He was a resident of Marlton, NJ since 1970. Beloved husband of 61 years to Carol (nee Benz) Lightfoot and loving father of Karin (Michael) Roney and Robert W. Lightfoot. Cherished grandfather of Michael D. Roney, Jr. and Aubrey E. Roney. Brother of David (Patricia) Lightfoot and Donald (Margo) Lightfoot. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Bob proudly served his country in the US Navy Reserves. He was employed at the Navy Depot in Philadelphia as a packaging specialist for the last 48 years.
Bob enjoyed being a mummer for the Greater Kensington String Band for 58 years.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Givnish of Marlton 398 East Main Street.
Bob’s Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m.
Burial will take place at ParkView Cemetery in Medford.
