Robert J. McDowell's Obituary
Robert J. McDowell passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 23, 2024 with his family by his side. Born in Philadelphia to William and Marjorie McDowell, Bob was 63 years old. He was a life long resident of Cinnaminson, NJ.
Beloved husband of 40 years to Christine (nee Aquaro) and loving father of Robert (Shannon D’Alessandro) McDowell, Jr., Cory McDowell and Michael McDowell. Cherished “grandfather” to Jason D’Alessandro. Brother of William McDowell. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and close family and friends.
Bob was a 1979 graduate from Cinnaminson High School, he was a member of IAHFIAW Local 14 Insulators from 1991 to 2018. Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting, crabbing and using his skills to build a house, model airplanes and bird houses. He was also an avid fan of the Eagles and Phillies. Most importantly, Bob loved spending time with his family.
A gathering of family and friends will be held this Saturday from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North. The celebration of Bob’s life will begin at 2:30 p.m.
