I shared an office with Bob a few years back. Loved his stories and his energy. I remember when we went to Germany, so I taught him the German word for "attorney". He was tickled. Only learned of his passing recently.

I have so many fond memories of Bob. Whether it’s sharing a beer and watching a game and having him yell at the players on the TV, or coming down and “playing” cable guy because Bob did something to the tv, or hearing his Irish jokes over a wonderful dinner that Cathy cooked, I will miss him so much. Bob and Cathy brought so much joy to our lives and hopefully Bob is telling one more Irish joke tonight for Cathy 😁
So sorry for your loss and prayers to your entire family. Bob was so kind, loving and so funny!
He loved his Irish jokes!

In our world, there was NOBODY I would want next to me in a battle, more than Bob O'Brien. He helped me, mentored me, encouraged me, and protected me as well as the members I represent. I will miss sharing his wisdom and sense of humor while enjoying a good Irish Whiskey.

My daughter, Tess, loved Bob's saying of "Too pooped to pop" and they would fondly yell it across the street to each other whenever they'd see each other outside.
