Roy S. Hansen, Sr., of Palmyra, NJ, passed away on March 16th, 2023, at the age of eighty. Roy was born in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Roy Hansen and the late Ester Hansen (nee Speizio). Beloved husband to Rosemary (nee Raiguel). Lo Read Obituary
Mr. Roy was my son’s bus driver for a few years. My son has special needs and Mr. Roy was always so patient and caring. He almost never took a day off and even brought things to the house that my son would forget on the bus. We would always joke about his NY sports teams and Philly teams. Class act guy all around. Definitely will be missed.
I was so sorry to hear the news of Mr. Roy's passing. He really was the kindest man. He was my son's bus driver for several years. He made every little kid on that bus feel special and and like what they said was important. My son often told me he couldn't wait to "tell Mr. Roy...". He would even come to see the kids preschool shows. Of course, this also made him a Rockstar to all us Mom's! Truly one of the best! We're so lucky to have had a chance to know him, even just a little.
