When you live into your 100th year, some of the people around you may not be aware of the vital, and productive, person you were. I remember that person well. My mother's sister could best be described as devout. She was devoted to her family, her church, and her community, with a desire to be of service and support. An avid reader, accomplished needleworker, and family historian; she always wanted to know the what and why of everything. I will miss her dearly, as will all the members of our family. No one will ever call me "sugarplum" again, or share my interest in historical fiction, quite as much as Aunt Ruth. May she rest in peace. With love, Sandra
