Sam and I golfed together, and when he could hardly see, he never complained or whined, in fact Wanda and I never heard Sam have anything but a positive attitude and a smile on his face. All the many years he and Gerda spent at HG never did we hear Sam speak harshly of any of his neighbors. Sam was a kind and caring man, and an example for all of us. He will be missed.
