Samuel G. Campbell's Obituary
Samuel G. Campbell passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Samaritan Hospice in Voorhees, NJ. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Sam was 91 years old. He was a resident of Leisure Knoll in Ridge, NY since 1998. Sam was a graduate of Rutgers University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree. He proudly served in the Merchant Marines during WWII. Sam and Gerda would spend winters in Boynton Beach, FL. Beloved husband of 48 years to the late Gerda H. (nee Mohnhaupt). Brother of the late John J. Campbell and the late Edward P. Campbell. Devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Sam’s Funeral Mass Tuesday, 1-2-18, 10:30 a.m. at St. Charles Chapel 200 Belle Terre Rd. Port Jefferson, NY. Friends may arrive at 10 a.m. Interment will take place at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Hospice 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
