Stephen F. McCarty's Obituary
Stephen F. McCarty passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 19, 2017, at his residence in Cinnaminson, NJ. Born in Camden, Steve was 54 years old. He was a resident of Cinnaminson for most of his life and formerly lived in Moorestown. Preceded in death by his parents; James and Jeannessa McCarty. Loving father of Stephen J. (Jill) McCarty and Caitlin M. (fiancé Sean Murray) McCarty. Pop-pop to Fiona Jeannessa. Brother of James McCarty, Kathryn (Tom) Himmelman, Diane (Chris) Sommer, Joann McCarty and Patricia (Rob) Mistretta. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Steve enjoyed his dogs, fishing, golfing, cooking and especially his granddaughter. He was employed as a electrical engineer for PSP Associates, Downingtown, PA. Steve was an active member of Sacred Heart Church were he was involved with the "Share-a-Meal" Ministry. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday 10- 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 103 4th St, Riverton, NJ 08077 and his Memorial Mass will follow at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the "Share-a-Meal" Ministry c/o Sacred Heart Church.
