Steve was an influential mentor, and guide. He went above and beyond to teach me management, decision making and accounting skills while giving me the opportunity to take on significant responsibility at a young age.

I have no doubt that his effort had a measurable and impactful influence on the person I have become today, and the success I have seen. Steve was a great man and I will continue to hold his teachings close.

I wish him a peaceful transition into whatever comes after this life and express my condolences to Peggy and the Morgan family.

A great man and great lawyer. I met him when after law school I became a judicial law clerk and he would appear it our Court. His voice was amazing to me. I wish sympathies to his families.

The Morgan family has always been intertwined in my life. My father and Steve were fraternity bothers at Penn. The Morgan house backed into my cousin's house in Cherry Hill. I remember as a little girl playing with the Morgan boys in the back yard. There were a lot of them and they all liked to run around a lot. Years later, I came to reconnect with Steve and Keith at various industry events. I would usually see Steve once a year in Arizona and it was always fun to sit and talk with him for hours about his travel adventures. He was such a content man. Always kind, thoughtful and considerate. A few months after my father died I received a very innocuous envelope in the mail. I opened it to find a picture of my father at his Penn Reunion many year prior. It was such a typical picture of my father, wearing a pretty dapper sport coat and holding a drink (probably a vodka and orange juice) in his other hand. There was a note on the other side of the picture, The note was from Steve. He heard that my father passed, found the picture and he wanted me to have it. The picture to this day still sits on my desk in my office. It was the most lovely gesture and it was quintessential Steve. Keep those memories of that kind gentleman in your hearts forever.

Our friendship with Steve was initiated by an order of the Court! At the conclusion of a hearing before Judge Lipkin sometime in the early '80s, Steve was called to the Bench by the Judge, who said, "Steve, you like to ski and you have a ski house in Vermont, correct?" Steve replied that he did. The Judge said, "Bob and Tina Tate like to ski. You should invite them to your place for a weekend." Being the good lawyer that he was, Steve complied with the Judge's order and extended the invitation. Thus began a long and loving friendship.

We will miss you, Steve. Rest in peace.
