There are as many funny stories about Steve Pisarek as there are stars in the sky, but the thing that stands out for me was the time he was holding his 1st grandchild, Baby Ella on his shoulders so she could watch the Parade/Bagpipers on Irish Weekend. He had this look a pure joy (and no, he's not Irish). I remember saying to our friends. Just look at that face. I've never seen Steve light up in just that way. (well, not sober anyway) but it was priceless. I thought, so that's what having a grandchild must feel like. I'll never forget it.
