I had the great pleasure and incredible good fortune of spending a lot of time over the past 2+ years with my very good friend Sylvia Carnuccio. A beautiful woman, inside and out, Sylvia was always the consummate lady. She was unswervingly devoted to her family. She adored her late husband John, and cherished her memories of him. She loved spending time with her daughter Trish and son John, and enjoyed listening to John’s musical performances, especially his rendition of her favorite song, “Because of You.” Sylvia loved and was proud of her many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and enjoyed her morning cups of coffee in her “Nana” mug. An impeccable dresser, Sylvia could be heard in the mornings asking, “Did I wear this yesterday?” Sylvia aged gracefully, never complaining, always putting others before herself. She had a great sense of humor, and frequently could be heard making others laugh with the mantra, “Getting old ain’t for sissies!” Sylvia was loved by me and all who knew her. I’m grateful I had the great pleasure and privilege of calling her my friend. I will cherish my memories of her forever.❤️ Terri Keeley
