Philip J. Milby
When Mr. Deal was last working at Project HOPE I was just finishing my fulltime stint there as a social worker/counselor before going to my present part time status. He was a friendly and gracious co-worker and made feel welcome from the start. We talked about Philadelphia experiences, sports and neighborhoods and I always enjoyed his intelligent banter and knowledge of area history. I especially appreciated his tip about Tocanelli's (sp?)pizza in Phila. as the best around!
The world is always a better place with people like Ted in it and I am sorry he is gone. Just glad he had such a full life and left others like him, I'm sure, via his family legacy. Sorry I couldn't make it last week, and may God bless and comfort his family circle and friends.
