Thomas V. Swietanski Sr., a resident of Hainesport for 17 years, passed away after a courageous 3-year fight against pancreatic cancer Wednesday morning, April 30, 2014. He was 71 years old. Tom was the beloved husband of Carolyn Read Obituary

This is Ryan Toms grandson i am very very saddened by his passing but at least i got to see him at Easter for for the last time. He was always there when i needed advice for baseball and was always there to encourage me when I was down. The day after he passed i was given a message from my Dad Tom Swietanski Jr. that he had left me a bag of quarters for me to keep collecting. I will miss him.
I am saddened to hear of Tom's passing. He was a good friend & we shared a number of good times together. I will always remember his great smile & his laughter. I will miss my friend dearly.

We are so sad to hear that Tom lost his brave battle. We will always remember him with his incredible smile and sense of humor. Our trips to Europe with the old CSC gang are highlights in our lives, and Sharon especially has very fond memories of those wonderful sightseeing days with Tom when Carolyn and Aaron had to work. He will never, ever be forgotten.
