Vito V. Balsamo's Obituary
Vito Balsamo, son of Vincenzo Balsamo and Paola Amato, born on May 25, 1948 in Carini on the Island of Sicily, Italy, went to heaven on March 15, 2020 surrounded by his loving and devoted wife of 49 years, Angela and their children.
Vito moved to Brooklyn, New York from Carini when he was 18. At 29, Vito and his beloved Angela moved to Moorestown, with their young family and became successful restauranteurs instilling their family values, love of the church, and dedication to the food industry into their children. Vito is known for his strength and as the patriarch of the Balsamo family.
Vito is survived by his loving wife, Angela; children Paola Keen and husband Glenn Keen, Rosella Anderson and husband David Anderson, and Vincenzo Balsamo and wife Rita Balsamo; grandchildren Vincenzo Keen, Antonio Keen, Victoria Anderson, Julia Anderson, Alexa Anderson, Angelina Balsamo, Vincenzo “Enzo” Vito Balsamo, Rocco Balsamo. Vito is also survived by his sister Ninfa Balsamo. Brothers Giovanni and Antonio Balsamo preceded Vito in death.
