Walter J Huber's Obituary
Walter J. Huber Sr., 76, of Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away on February 27, 2023. Born on April 26, 1946 to the late Walter J. and Regina P. Huber. Dear husband of Anne Huber (nee McQuaide) for over 52 years. Dear father to Patricia Huber, Karen Huber, and Walter J. Huber Jr. (Kelly) Grandfather to Taylor, Noah, Oliver, Kiersten, and Ryan. Brother Michael Huber, Bobby Huber (Kathy), Marianne Hulme (Bill), and Peggy Gaughan (Jimmy). He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and cousins.
Walt proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1966-1968. After he returned home, he met his wife and raised his 3 children in Cinnaminson, NJ. He volunteered for many years with St. Charles Borromeo Church and the Cinnaminson Fire Company for 23 years. On his downtime, Walt enjoyed watching Nascar and going to the races in Dover, DE and Watkins Glen, PA. He loved traveling to the Poconos for family vacations. In his younger years, he coached his kid’s teams and later enjoyed watching his grandchildren’s sports games.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Sunday, March 5th from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, and again Monday, March 6th from 8:30am to 10am with his funeral service following at St. Charles Borromeo Church of Cinnaminson at 10:30am. Burial will follow at the Brigadier General Wm. C. Doyle Veteran’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warriors Project, https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/donate.
