First met Bill in the spring of 1996 at Clarks Landing while looking for a slip for my new boat. Turns out that Bill and I and 3 other friends all purchased 1996 Bayliners.
Upon delivery it was Bill that I threw my dock line to to pull me in for that first time.
He always called me BILLY!
My father was Big Bill and those 2 were like brothers, good thing as my dad was an only child. Dad passed in 2010 but Bill and Marie were there for me.
Dad never went to a house party ever. But if it was at Bill and Marie's or Larry and Joanne's place he was there.
Bill was truly a kind and gentle man, i not only consider him a friend but have thought of him as my Godfather.
